EThekwini Mayor Councillor Cyril Xaba today welcomed Toyota South Africa Motors' R10.4 billion investment in the production of the new ninth-generation Toyota Hilux, describing it as a significant vote of confidence in the City's economy and future.
The landmark investment is expected to bolster Durban's automotive manufacturing sector, stimulate economic growth, and support job creation, while reinforcing the City's commitment to creating an enabling environment for investment and business growth.
